How do I create an account?
Open Aevix and tap Sign Up. Enter your display name, a unique username, your email address, phone number, and a password (at least 6 characters). Tap Create Account to get started.
How do I start a chat?
Tap the + button at the top of your chat list. Search for a user by name or handle, select them, and tap Start Chat.
How do I make a voice or video call?
Open a direct message conversation. You'll see a phone icon (📞) and video icon (📹) in the top-right corner. Tap either to start a call. Both users must be online for calls to connect.
How do I add contacts?
Tap the Contacts tab at the bottom of the app, then tap the search icon to find users by name or @handle. Tap the + button next to their name to send a contact request.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings (tap your profile picture) → scroll to the bottom → tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the Sign In screen, tap Forgot password? Enter your email address and we'll send you a password reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Make sure notifications are enabled in your iPhone Settings → Aevix → Notifications. Also check that Notifications are turned on inside the app under Settings → Notifications. If calls are not ringing, ensure Background App Refresh is enabled for Aevix.
How do I report a user?
Open the user's profile by tapping their name or avatar. Scroll down and tap Report User. Select the reason and submit. Our team reviews all reports.
How much does Aevix cost?
Aevix is free to download and use. Aevix Plus is an optional subscription at £4.99/month that unlocks premium themes, 4K video calls, larger uploads, and a Plus badge. Cancel any time.
How is my data protected?
Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security policies, meaning only you can access your private data. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption. We never sell your data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

App Store & Subscriptions

Aevix is free to download on the App Store. Aevix Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed at £4.99/month through your Apple ID. You can cancel any time in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

If you subscribed on another device, you can restore it inside the app via Settings → Aevix Plus → Restore purchases.

For billing or refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly as all subscriptions are processed by Apple.
